Hello @paul14, let me share some information about the pop-up ads that you may have noticed in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Typically, these ads are designed to provide guidance and suggestions on how to optimize your QBO experience. While there is currently no way to completely disable the ads, you can dismiss them by clicking on the X or No, thanks button, which will prevent them from showing up again.

You can block the ads in Google Chrome by following the steps outlined in this article: Block certain ads. Additionally, you also have an option to enable the pop-up blocker in your browser. Here's how:

  1. Click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Choose Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
  3. Hover over the Pop-ups and redirects section and select Block from the ▼ dropdown menu.

For Safari users, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your Safari browser.
  2. Choose Safari, then click Preferences.
  3. Click Websites at the top.
  4. Select Pop-up Windows on the left sidebar.
  5. Finally, click Block in the pop-up menu for the website.
