Let me be the first to welcome you to the Community. I can guide you on deleting the payment in QuickBooks Online.
At this time, you can only delete a payment, not undo it. You have to go to the Transaction List tab under the customer’s profile. Here how:
- Go to Sales from the left menu and select Customers.
- Choose the customer from the list.
- From the Transaction List tab, locate the payment and open it.
- Click More, then Delete.
- Hit Yes.
Please bear in mind that deleting it is irreversible. For more information, check out this article: How to void or delete an invoice or other transactions.
If you want to check the history of the payment transaction, pull up the Audit Log. This tool provides a list of all activity performed on the company file. To access it, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
- Click the Filter button to customize it.
- Choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow results.
- Hit Apply.
