You'd be glad to know that you can use the late fees feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and add it to your overdue invoice, @jschall@offconta.

All we have to do is enable the feature, set it up, and it'll automatically apply the fee to your past due invoice. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Select Sales from the left menu.
  3. Click the Late fees section. Check the box to turn on late fees.
  4. Setup your late fee settings and click Save.
  5. Then select Done.

You can also check this article for more details: Set up and apply automatic late fees to invoices.

Once your customer pays the invoice, you can now record their payment into your QBO. You can utilize this resource for the complete steps: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

You can always count on me whenever you need help with your invoices or QBO. I'll be more than happy to back you up anytime!

Welcome to the Community, @JustinF2

I understand the importance of having a late fees option in your settings. However, this feature is only currently available in the US QuickBooks version.

With this, I recommend using a third-party app to help you apply and calculate late fees for overdue invoices in your QuickBooks Online.

You may also visit this article. Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online. It contains information on how to send reminders to customers about their payment due dates.
