Thank you for reaching out to the Community, kara. I know how to schedule your invoices to be sent later in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QuickBooks, we can utilize the recurring invoice feature to create templates that allow us to schedule our transaction to be out on a specific date. For an overview, this feature is used to provide customers with an easy way to send repeated transactions.

Moreover, we can still use this for one-time transactions and delete it afterward once the invoice has been sent. To do that, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Recurring Transactions.
  2. Click the New button to crate and select Invoice under the Transaction Type.
  3. Tap OK.
  4. In the recurring settings, enter the Template name and select Schedule for the Type.
  5. On the Start date, select the date when you want the invoice to be sent out, and choose an End date.
  6. Also, don't forget to add the customer and the additional details you may have on the invoice. Then, hit the Save template button.

After using you can delete it by going to the Recurring Transactions window and locating this template. Then, click the dropdown arrow under the Action column and select Delete.

Furthermore, you can check out this article to see how you can record an invoice payment once your client pays their statement of charges: Record an invoice payment
