I can help you take off the sales tax line on the invoice, @bobgsllc. I'll explain the details below.

If you don't charge sales tax but have the setting enabled in your QuickBooks Online account, you may disable it to avoid it showing on the invoices or other sales forms. First, you need to ensure to delete any transactions that have sales taxes on them.

After deleting all the transactions, you may now turn it off in the automated sales tax experience. Please refer to the steps below:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and select the Sales Tax tab.
  2. Click the Sales Tax Settings button.
  3. Hit Turn off sales tax, then choose Yes to confirm.

On the other hand, if you're referring to the Sales Tax below the Subtotal on the invoice, there's no option to remove this on the template. However, you don't have to worry about this showing up on your end as it won't be visible once you print or send the invoice to your customers.

Moreover, it's crucial to record your customer's payment in QuickBooks to ensure that the invoices are marked as paid. This way, you can keep an accurate record of your business's financial transactions.

You can also set up automated reminders for your customers when your invoices are due. This feature can help you get paid faster and reduce the number of overdue payments.

This information should be able to remove the sales tax line and proceed with your other tasks in QuickBooks. If you have any other questions about the program, click the Reply button, and I'll be here to assist you. Have a great day!
