How I can run a Report for Product/Service for Non-Profitable Organization?

Hi,

I work in a non-profitable organization, and we have campaigns (projects) during the year like supporting orphans or students etc. So I did a booking when the payment is out as Donations & Contributions and in the Items Details I entered these campaigns as services (I un-ticked the option "I sale this service" as there's no income fund expected). and I split the amount for each campaign.

My questions:

1. Is what I did correct (explained in the screenshot)?

2.How can I run a report showing how much I paid for each campaign please?

Hi, ixAmjadxi. Thanks for posting here in the Community. 

 

Yes, what you did is correct. Since you have not selected I sell this product/service to my customers, it means that you don't sell this service and therefore will not earn any revenue from it.

 

Additionally, you can run the Purchases by Product/Service Detail report to view how much you've paid for the campaigns you've donated. I can walk you through the steps for viewing this report.

 

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Find the Expense and vendors section.
  3. From there on, click the Purchases by Product/Service Detail. Also, you can use the search field provided and search for this report.

 

Once you're on the report page, you're going to see the payments you've made for these campaigns.
