How to add an income code

We have scrap invoices received and I’d like to use “create invoice” to record them. Right now we only have ‘Sales’ account but want to create ‘other income’ account and use them to record. Any walk through on how to create one?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We can create an account in the Chart of Accounts and select the other income account to track different types of transactions. Then, we ensure the item/services account should be treated by choosing an Income Account when adding or editing an item/service.

 

I'll show you how to do it:

 

  1. Go to the Lists menu, then select New
  2. Select the type of item you want to create.
  3. Fill out all the item fields
  4. Use Custom Fields to add your own customized fields.
  5. Click Save.
