Working in UAE and have AED Dirhams as local currency. But in reports it's not showing in AED, but in arabic letters, which I don't want. How can I change it, that the currency is written in AED and not in arabic letters?

    Hi Pooldeife,

Let's work together to make sure the currency is being displayed properly.

In QuickBooks Online, the amount of a transaction or balance is shown by the symbol of that currency. In AED, it should be showing the sign which is د.إ. In the same way, USD are shown by the $ sign, instead of the actual USD code letters. If the amounts are being shown by the Arabic letters درهم, please send me a screenshot so I can take a closer look.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I have exactly the same question. The currency symbol for the UAE version seems to be a fixed "د.إ." that also shows up on the right hand side of the figure, instead of the left hand side. It looks terrible, honestly. It looks as if there's something wrong with the invoice, and I would like to change that. Why can't we change that? The current setting just throws you off when looking at any invoice, dashboard, and you can't focus on the content. Is there a way to change that at all?
