How to change the name of an account in the chart of accounts

Changing the name of an account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a breeze. Simply navigate to the Chart of accounts page and you'll be able to finish this task in just a few clicks.

Here's how:

1. In your company, go to the Transactions menu on the left panel and select Chart of accounts. 
2. From the list, look for the account you're working on.
3. Go to the Action column to select View register or Account history and click the Edit option. 
4. Head to the Name field in the Account screen and make the necessary changes.
5. Tap the Save and Close button to apply the changes.
