Hey there @jszymanski-ensem, thanks for being a part of the Quickbooks Community!

Currently it is not possible to remove the 'Accepted by' and 'Accepted date' from the estimate form.

You can however upload a custom form to QuickBooks as an alternative.

Let me know if I can assist with anything further! Take care.

It's been a couple of years... Is this still a thing? Why can't they just make this function removable? It can't be THAT difficult for them.

It's now 2023, has this been fixed yet?

QB is so determined to add this text that even after creating a custom form and previewing it to make sure it looks ok then saving it, it still adds the text when trying to print to pdf from the quote view. So in a sense, the app is forcing display of this text even when it isn't there (see attached)

If they want to force add this text, then the feature to 'click to accept' should be added as well.

This is incredibly annoying. The 'accepted by' idea is what we used to use on quotes back in 1994 where a client prints, signs then mails the quote back you.

In case the engineers haven't realised, robots are already making our lunch for us, can we get one to fix this please?

I'm here to update you about this "Accepted by" text on an estimate, OnePic.

As of the moment, it's still not possible to remove the text from the estimate form. We can't give a definite time frame when this will be available. In the meantime, I suggest you also send feedback to our engineers. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, select Next to submit feedback.

I'll also share an article to help you link an estimate and invoice to keep your books accurate: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online (intuit.com).

Drop a comment below if you have further concerns about customizing estimates. I'll be here to assist you. Stay safe!

Hey Camelle,

It is now March 2024 and here I am looking for the same solution. Does Quickbooks provide feedback to its own development team when features are repeatedly brought up or requested in the Support Forums?

Seems simple enough for you to fill out this report, instead of making the users do it themselves. I'll put that request into the feedback I provide as well.
