Hi:

I am trying to edit an existing budget in quickbooks on line.  I am having difficulty.  Is there a step by step insructions I can get.

Let me walk you through the process of editing a budget in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Budgeting. Then, look for your budget on the list.
  3. Choose the View/Edit in the Options column. Edit each account one month at a time.
  4. To update the time period from monthly to quarterly or yearly, switch between Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly views.
  5. Select Save or Save and close.
