Beforehand, I'd like to clarify whether you're referring to a purchase receipt (related to expenses or purchases made by your business) or a sales receipt (related to income from sales to customers).
If it's a purchase receipt, you can easily upload it into QuickBooks Online by using the "Attachments" feature. This will allow you to attach digital copies of your receipts to the corresponding transactions for record-keeping purposes.

If it's a sales receipt, here are the steps to record it in QuickBooks Online:
Go to + New, then select Sales receipt.
From the Customer ▼ dropdown, select a customer.
From the Select a product/service ▼ dropdown, select the product or service that you sold.
Fill out the other necessary fields in the sales receipt, then select Save.
