How to generate trial balance report with opening balance, debit transactions, credit transactions and closing balance in QB?

Customizing the Trial Balance report with your desired details is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Vignesh. Allow me to provide an alternative way.

Please know that the Trial Balance in QBO shows the closing balance of each account over a given period to ensure the debit and credit balances are equal.

Meanwhile, you can generate a Transaction Detail by Account or General Ledger report that provides a detailed view of all transactions sorted by accounts such as Debit, Credit, and Balance as a workaround:

1. Sign in to your QBO account.
2. Go to the Reports tab.
3. Search for Transaction Detail by Account or General Ledger report.
4. Adjust the Report Period if necessary.
5. Click on the Settings or Columns button to make customization.

7. Click Refresh Report or Run Report.

Additionally, you can export the reports to Excel and manually combine each report's details.
