Catherine, I think you are missing his question, some of us need YOUR company W9 for out accounting department since we pay Intuit fees. We cannot print one out and fill it out for you. How do we get that W9 from Intuit for our vendor file? Who do we call or email to obtain it?
I think you don't understand what all of this people, and I, are talking about. In our countries we are asked to get an certificate of residence or a W9 from our foreign providers. I know it is used for other means in your country, But, this is a requirement for our tax authorities so we can deduct the payments as an expense. If we don't get it we cannot buy from that provider.
All of our foreign providers give us this document without problem. A few of them, like you, don't understand what are we talking about. Those use to be the ones that are very small companies, or don't have a formal accounting area. You are supposed to be a very formal company, so you should not be in that group. So I ask you to give us the link to download it with dat of this year. Please, don't send the link to fill it. It would be better if you go with an accountant in your company that knows about that topic. If he/she doesn't know, then it means it is not the appropiate person to look for.
I understand how important this is to you, @sorozco.
Thank you for clarifying your concern. It will also help us to provide correct information.
Intuit does not provide a W-9 form. It is because every country has different requirements.
I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks support within your account to connect with representatives who are familiar with regional procedures and can provide the assistance you need.
