How to restore previous copy of company file?

Currently, the Online Backup and Restore app is only available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced. Since you're using the basic plan (Simple Start), I recommend searching for a compatible third-party application that can assist you in restoring your company file. Here's how:

1. Go to Apps and select Find Apps.
2. Search the keyword Restore in the search bar and press Enter.
3. Select an app and click Get app now to integrate.

Moreover, you can utilize the audit log in QBO to track your activities. Doing so will help you see who made changes to your books or recreate any deleted transactions.

You can use your latest company file editted on Jan 19, 2024 and convert it to QBO. You can use the trial version of QB Desktop to access it for good if required.
