how to transfer inventory items to a subsidairy as an investment in subsidary

Hello Everyone, 

i have been having challenges on how to best treat a couple of inventories the entity sells in its course of is business and now, the entity setup a wholly owned subsidiary and move some of its inventory to the new sub as per of the investment  how do i go about on quickbook in terms of transferring from Inventory to Investment in subsidary.
