In QuickBooks Online, if the reconciliation is complete and shows zero difference, it confirms that your account balances align with your QuickBooks transactions. However, if you encounter discrepancy report and does not show zero, this means that there are several reasons for this discrepancy.

Here are some common reasons for discrepancies in your reconciliation report:

  • There are amount that was edited or modified.
  • Unreconciled transactions and reconciled it again.
  • Transactions that are mistakenly reconciled.
  • If a transaction was deleted unintentionally.
