Question

I am having a delivery issue trying to send invoices to the customers. I have confirmed the email address. Has anyone had this issue before and if so, what to do?

Let me help you fix this issue, Acosta.

You can edit the template and resend it to your customers. To edit, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and then select Custom Form Style.
  2. Select the template and click Edit under the Action column.
  3. Click Done.

However, if it doesn't resolve the problem, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is somewhat related to a browser issue. You can log in using an incognito window to access your account. This mode prevents your browsing activity from being stored after your session ends and prevents online tracking leaving your browser clean and easy to access any websites and error-free. . Use the shortcut keys to access the private window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

Once done, resend your invoice and double-check if it is successful. If it works, then go back to the main browser to clear its cache and delete some outdated files that might be the cause of the error. Otherwise, you can use a supported, up-to-date browser.

Additionally, when a customer pays an invoice, you need to record payments to connect it to the invoice to balance your accounts. To know more about this, read this article for more details: Record Invoice Payments In QuickBooks Online.
