Your purchases via your checking account get denied on Amazon for several reasons, country. I can share more details about this matter.

Purchases get rejected due to these factors:

  • Expired Card.
  • There's a mismatch between the card details and the information on your Amazon account.
  • Insufficient Funds.
  • Bank restrictions due to risky transactions or massive amounts/value of purchase.
  • Incorrect payment information.

Once a transaction gets declined, you'll receive an email notification with details about why it's rejected and information on how to fix it. Please review your email's inbox or spam and junk folders to check and confirm.

I also recommend contacting our partners at GreenDot by dialing the number on the back of your debit card if you can't find the email we sent regarding the declined purchase. They have the necessary tools to securely access your account and help resolve this situation.

Lastly, I'm adding this article containing information about QuickBooks and Amazon's incorporation: QuickBooks & Amazon Business. Better together. It ensures you can get the most out of both programs.
