Question

I am having an issue with Custom Form Styles. I have an invoice created in a form and it shows to be the default but when I start an invoice it is not my default.

I have tried to recreate the custom form and make it the default but it still pulls up a random form I didn't create when I start an invoice.  Anyone else experiencing this?  I have used my default form for several years with no issues and now all of a sudden it won't let me use it.

Thanks for joining us here in the Community, brad104.

I want to make sure you're able to use your default template when creating an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

Based on what you've described you may want to check a setting that automates older info that had been entered before. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Account and settings.

3. Choose the Advanced tab on the left.

4. In the Automation section, make sure the Pre-fill forms with previously entered content option is turned off.

5. Click Done when you're finished.

Give this a try and then attempt to create a new invoice once more. Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand.

Unfortunately, that was already selected.  I am going to attempt to upload some screenshots to show what I am seeing.
