I hope you're having a wonderful day, @mattstas1234. You've come to the right place to get the answers you're looking for.

I'll be here to show you how to copy an invoice within the new layout. Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales then select All sales or Invoices.
  2. Find the invoice you want to copy and hit Edit.
  3. If you're already in the invoice creation page, select Save.
  4. Click Manage to open the settings panel.
  5. In the Action box, press the dropdown ▼, then choose Make a copy.
  6. Edit the invoice if needed, then click Save.

Furthermore, I've included these resources that can enhance your understanding of invoice transactions:

Thanks this is close to what I need but not the same.

My scenario is I just made an invoice.  As I am looking at that invoice I want to immediately make a copy.  In other words I don't want to have to go click on sales, etc.

Before at the bottom of the page there was an option to make a copy on the same page as the current invoice I was viewing. Thanks

I can provide an easier way for you to make a copy of your invoices in the new template in QuickBooks Online (QBO), mattstas1234.

When creating a new invoice, you can copy it directly from the Invoice page. Let me show you how.

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the + New menu and select Invoice.
  3. Fill out the form with the necessary and accurate details.
  4. Once done, click Save. Please know that you can only make a copy of an invoice once saved.
  5. Still, on the Invoice page, click ⚙ Manage on your screen's upper left corner.
  6. Tap the Action ▼ button and pick Make a copy.

Kindly refer to the screenshot below:

You may also make a copy of existing invoices from the Invoice page. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select Invoices.
  2. Locate the data that you want to make a copy of. Then, click Edit.
  3. Select the ⚙ Manage option.
  4. Tap the Action ▼ button and pick Make a copy.

Additionally, once a customer pays an invoice, it should be recorded as invoice payment. Doing so would help you link the amount to your customer's balance and mark it as paid. This process also ensures you'll have balanced accounts.

I'm still available if you have more concerns about making a copy of your invoices. Just add a reply to this thread, and I'll assist you accordingly.
