I am so #$@% at QBO right now because I just sent an invoice to an important customer and QBO's AI decided to change my subject line. How do I turn off AI in QBO?

Welcome to the Community space. We'll share details about the AI function in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Before we proceed, know it isn't the experience we want you to have with the program. Also, when the feature is activated or used inside QuickBooks, there won't be an option to deactivate it. We recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team so they can evaluate the suggestion and consider it for future updates. These are the steps:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Feedback and then enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Once ready, click Next to submit feedback.

I have provided my feedback as per your suggestion.  I'm not hopeful as providing feedback in the past has not helped. 

 

I really want to like QBO, but after having it for two years, I'm not there yet.  There are some good things about QBO, but the recent changes have made it much less useful.

I was lucky enough to catch the AI generated subject line and change it before I sent an email to my customer.  The AI generated subject lines are very pedestrian and do not present as professional.  The AI feature taking over your already established processes and procedures is ridiculous.  I was able to bypass the feature, but 3 days later it came up again and invoices went out with the unprofessional AI subject lines.  I don't want it... I don't need it.  Stop it, quickbooks!
