I am trying to add a product to the product and services list that is from inventory. The only options I have are non-inventory and services. How do I fix this?

Inventory features are available for QuickBooks Online(QBO) Plus and Advanced. If you're not currently on these plans, you may consider upgrading to begin adding inventory products.

However, if you're already on the upgraded version but haven’t yet turned on this feature, you can follow the steps below.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose the Account and settings tab.
3. Navigate to Sales.
4. Click the Products and services section to edit.
5. Turn on the Show Product/Service column on sales forms.
6. Select Save and then Done.

Once done, go to your Product & services and check if you can add inventory items.

If the issue persists, we can perform basic troubleshooting steps to check if this is a browser-related problem. Let's start by logging in to your account on a private browser.

 Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private window: 

• Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you can proceed to add inventory items, go to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the page and start with a clean slate. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers.
