I am trying to change my company name in the "edit invoice" menu but when I click save I get an error message every time.

I want to ensure this is taken care of, qfsllc.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), we can update the company name by going to the Gear icon. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose an Intuit account to open the Intuit Account Manager.
3. Click the Sign-in & security menu.
4. Select the User ID, Email Address, or Password section and edit the business name.
5. Once done, click Save.

After that, log out and log back into your account to refresh the changes. 

However, if you want to edit the company name in the invoice, you can follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the Invoices menu.
2. Open the invoice and select the Edit button. 
3. From there, click the Edit work info and change the name. 
4. Hit Save.

If you receive the same error, let's perform basic troubleshooting steps. You may have accumulated too much historical data. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

• Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
• Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once done, update the company name again. If it works, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.
