I am trying to create a payroll for my contractors i put them as employees instead of contractors

I'm here to assist you in creating payroll for your contractors in no time, clmenterprise195.

 

You'll have to modify the employee's name and enter a unique identifier to make it slightly different to avoid entering the same name when adding them as a contractor. 

 

  1. From the Payroll tab > Employees.
  2. Select the name of the employee.
  3. Click on Edit in the Personal info.
  4. Enter the changes, and tap Save.

 

Once edited, enter their details as a contractor. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Payroll and select Contractors.
  2. Select Add a contractor.
  3. Enter your contractor’s info, or select the Email this contractor checkbox so they can fill it out.
  4. When you're done, select Add contractor.

 

Once done, you may pay your contractor via direct deposit or with a paper check. Check out these resources for more details:
