I am trying to finish page 420, Update Products and Services List Before Entering Transaction section. But there is no Inventory option when I am going to add new items

We can check your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription plan as it depends on the features and functionalities available for your business. To do that, you can hover your cursor on the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and Billing.

Please know that adding inventory products is only available for QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced. Otherwise, you can only add other types of items aside from it.

However, if you have either of the two plans mentioned above, I recommend performing troubleshooting steps to rectify any web issues causing applications like QBO to not show other options like adding inventory items.

To start, let's access your company file using a private window or incognito. It's a helpful tool for troubleshooting browser-related difficulties, as it won't preserve any history. The following are the keyboard shortcuts:

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift+ N

Once done, it is recommended to clear your browser's cache or cookies to avoid similar issues in the future. Alternatively, opting for one of the supported browsers can also be an option.
