I am unable to change which email my invoices get sent from as the drop down menu option to add a google account does not exist. How can I fix this?

I understand the importance of being able to change your email in your invoices and have the option to add a Google account. Let me walk you through the steps on how you can change it. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to + New and select Invoices. 
  2. Add the necessary details for your invoice, click Save and send, and a Send email window will pop up.
  3. Choose the From dropdown, then click the + Add Gmail address and Connect Google account.
  4. Sign in to your Google account.
  5. Choose Allow. Your Gmail address will now appear in the Form field.

 

Also, if doing the steps above didn't resolve your concern, we can try troubleshooting this issue. Sometimes, your browser's cache can become filled and cause issues when working your QuickBooks Online account. You can follow these keyboard shortcuts to open incognito or private mode.

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
