Question

I can not create new invoice. Is something wrong with QB app? It says error and to try later.

I updated the app yesterday.

This issue has been reported here many times in the last couple of days. Not sure of the fix.

Hi there, alex74. I'll help you surpass the error you've encountered while creating an invoice.

 

Thank you for informing us that you were experiencing an issue with creating invoices using the mobile app. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Upon checking with my tools, I found out that there is an ongoing issue about being unable to create invoices using the mobile app on Android.

 

I suggest contacting our customer support team if you use an Android mobile app. They can add you to the list of affected users. Once added, you will receive timely updates via email or SMS regarding the status of the investigation. This will help you keep track of any updates or changes that may come up and ensure that you're always in the loop. 

 

  1. At the top right, click the Help icon.
  2. Choose the Assistant section.
  3. Type your concern in the Type Something field.
  4. Click Talk to a human.
  5. Hit, I still need a human.
  6. Press the Get help from a human.
  7. You'll be routed into the How can we help? Page. Then, choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat or Get a callback.

 

However, if you're not using an Android mobile device, I suggest refereshing your mobile app. Sometimes, the stored cache may cause unusual behavior in the QuickBooks app because it affects the performance. We can reset it to verify if it is causing this odd behavior. This process plays the same role as clearing the cache from your web browser, which helps us start again with a clean slate.

 

Follow these steps if you are using iOS:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and select Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Click Refresh to confirm.

 

Once done, restart and reopen your mobile app, then create an invoice again. If you continue to experience any difficulties with the app, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online (QBO) application to start fresh.
