Hello there, dermdoc1. I'll share information about adding accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Have you encountered error messages while linking your bank and credit card accounts? If so, I'd like to ask for additional details or screenshots to provide appropriate instructions and information.

In the meantime, let me share some  reasons why we can't connect your accounts:

  • Ensure to select the accurate entry or provide all potential links, as your bank has several names listed.
  • Note that your bank may not link to all account types, such as personal and business accounts.
  • Your bank is not an approved financial institution.

If they don't belong to the listed reasons above, let's search for your banks in the following ways:

  • Verify the spelling to ensure it matches your bank's website.
  • Utilize exact names when searching for your bank.
  • Input your bank's URL into the search bar.
  • Look for the name of your issuing bank on the rear side of your bank card.
  • Choose other listed versions of your bank's name.

If you still can't connect them in the system, it means QBO and your bank aren't supported by each other. With this, I'd recommend requesting support for your financial institution. For the process, see Step 3 in this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking in QuickBooks Online or Self-Employed.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions into your program.
