Question

I can't update bills or mark them as paid. I also cant access the chat feature. Says chat during business hours after 6 am, it's 9 am here.

I have information on why you can't mark as paid a bill using Quickbooks Online (QBO), Colen.

 

Usually, you can mark a bill as paid after you link it to pay bills in QBO. In your case, you may experience some browser issues. With this,  I advise using other supported browsers and utilize your QuickBooks there. If the issue persists, I suggest performing some basic browser troubleshooting to rule out the possibility of having issues with your browser. Know that display programs accumulate temporary internet files that can affect your browsing experience. Too many internet files can sometimes change how your QBO company behaves, resulting in errors when performing tasks. See the following keyboard shortcuts for suitable browsers to open a private window:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P
