I cannot see the “snap receipts” button on quickbook online app? Any idea what do I have to do?

This isn't the experience we want you to encounter while using your QuickBooks Online app, luischugmd.

 

Let me share the steps on how you can locate and use the snap receipts button. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
  2. Select the Menu icon.
  3. Select Receipt snap.
  4. Select the Receipt camera and snap a photo of your receipt.
  5. Select Use this photo, then Done.

 

If you still can't see the option to snap receipts after following the steps, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your QBO app so it'll have a clean slate.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Click the menu and select My apps & games.
  3. Next, tap on the QuickBooks Online app.
  4. Then, select Uninstall.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Next, click General.
  3. Then, tap [Device] Storage.
  4. Select the QBO mobile app.
  5. Click Delete app.
  6. Select Delete to confirm.

 

You can then reinstall the QBO mobile app for both Android and iOS.
