Question

I completed my 2023 vendor 1099s last week and QBO states recipient copies have been emailed, mailed for several days, but they have not been, why not? Please advise.

You've got me here to share information regarding when your vendors can receive their 1099 forms, drnicole.

It can be that the email they received is a link or instructions on how to access the forms online. It will require your recipients to create a QuickBooks Self-Employed account, which allows them to securely share their tax information with you and view their 1099 form.

Please know that we'll send mailed copies of the 1099 forms to the residential address mentioned in their profile by January 31. If they don't receive it within 7 business days after January 31, you can print the recipient copies within your account.

To learn more about this process, please see this link: Learn how your contractors can add their own 1099 tax info.

@JamaicaA

The OP's very-clear question is:

"QBO states recipient copies have been emailed, mailed for several days, but they have not been, why not?"

Did you answer the question? No, you did not.

RE: You've got me here to share information regarding when your vendors can receive their 1099 forms, drnicole.

We've "got you here"?  What is that supposed to mean?

But, it sounds like a good start to offer to share when the OP's vendors will get their 1099's. Only then don't do that. Instead you write:

"All 1099 forms will be mailed to the residential address mentioned in the contractor's profile by January 31."

Which is sharing a deadline, and does not address either the OP's question or when the 1099 recipients will get their forms, or why QB Online says they were mailed when they have not been mailed.

Please try again and actually answer the question.
