Question

I created my QBO account on my phone and paid using my Google Pay. Id like to change the payment method to just a credit card instead of Google Pay. How do I do this?

When I go to Settings > Subscriptions & Billing > it says "Have questions about your subscription? Looks like you are on Apple or Google billing. Follow our guide for how to manage your subscription". I have cancelled my subscription via my Google Pay, but I do not notice any changes to my account, nor do I see where it allows me to switch to another payment method - seems like everywhere I go, it always points me back towards my Google Pay. How can I make the switch?

I've got some steps on changing your payment method, hypermentality-g

Since you mentioned that you already canceled your subscription via Google Pay, I recommend checking the status of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account by logging in to your browser to see if it's canceled or not.

If so, you can either resubscribe or subscribe to a new account. Follow these steps if you choose to resubscribe your account:

  1. Go to the Gear icon located in the upper right corner.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. In your QuickBooks plan, click Resubscribe, then enter the updated billing info.
  4. Press Subscribe

However, if the account is active, you can update your billing info by going to Subscriptions and billing

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon located in the upper right corner.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. Next with the payment method, click Edit.
  4. This will launch the Wallet list. In this view, you can edit the payment method used for QBO billing.
  5. Save the changes you've made.

I'll provide these guides for more detailed steps in case you want to know more about:
