I do not want to show the "Rate" on the estimate, how do I change the estimate form?

The rate column will still show when creating an estimate even if the form was changed, cross welding. Let me share the details with you.

In the new estimate layout, there isn't an option to remove the rate column. However, you can make adjustments by editing an existing template or creating a new one for your estimates. Just make sure to uncheck the Rate box in the Custom Form styles and use it when creating an estimate.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form styles (Take me there).
  2. Click on New Style and choose Estimate.
  3. From the Design tab (optional), you can customize the layout and appearance of your estimate form.
  4. Switch to the Content tab. This is where you can control what information is displayed on your estimate.
  5. Under the COLUMNS section, untick the Rate checkboxes.
  6. Click Done.

Once done, create an estimate, click on the Design tab and select the template you want to use. It will look like a new layout, but it will be based on the template you customize when you send it to your customer.
