I understand that getting rid of the specific column in your invoice entry is important to you, BobTacher. Let me share more information regarding this.

At the moment, removing the Class column is unavailable since it is a built-in feature of QuickBooks Online (QBO). Thus, I encourage you to submit your insights to our products engineers so they can review them and consider adding this feature to their next update.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

As a workaround, we can minimize the space it occupies by adjusting the width of its column. Kindly follow  these steps:

  1. Go to the + New icon, and choose Invoice.
  2. From the Product or Service section, find the Class column.
  3. Hold the vertical line that divides the Class and Tax column, then drag it to the left to minimize the occupied space of the Class column.
  4. Fill out other information within the invoice entry.
  5. Once done, click the Save and Close or Review and Send.
