Choosing not to link your financial accounts to QuickBooks Online is a valid option that many users find beneficial, Falcon. You can manually upload your transactions to keep your financial management on track. Let's go through the steps to get this set up for you.

If this is your first time using the program and you haven't linked your bank account, you can manually upload your transactions directly. I recommend reaching out to your bank to obtain a CSV file.

Here are the steps to get you going:

  1. Head to the Transactions menu, then the Bank Transactions tab.
  2. Click the Upload Transactions button.
  3. Drag and drop or select files. Pick the file you downloaded from your bank. Continue.
  4. Select the account to upload transactions or create a new one. Press Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then Continue.
  6. Choose the transactions you would like to import and Continue.
  7. Hit Yes. When you accept it, click Done.

If you've already connected your bank account and wish to disconnect or unlink it, I can walk you through the necessary steps to do this.

  1. Head to the Transactions menu, then Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the duplicate bank account.
  3. Press the pencil icon and pick Edit account info.
  4. Tick the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Save and Close.

After unlinking your bank account, you can manually upload your transactions.

You can use MT Online or another converter tool (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
