I found that every transaction I have to update both invoice and Journal entry . I updated the receive amount in invoice. I saw the report say inv : paid, journal :unpaid

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! With QuickBooks Online, journal entries can only be used as credits toward the invoice, which could be why your journal says it is unpaid in the report. I am adding this article below that shares information on journal credits with invoices:

Thank you for your solution. One more question. I have account receivable.The problem is when I check the balance sheet. I am so surprised that the amount is different because it referred both invoice amount and Journal account amount. In this case how do I correct this duplicate amount?
