Question

I hate the online version. Has anyone figured out a way to customize statements? Due to their overly large font, I now get statements that are three pages instead of one.

I have to individually adjust some addresses to fit in the space for window envelopes.  Sadly, even the customization for invoices is limited and lacking but available.

I recognize how efficient it can be to customize statements according to your business needs, cynosurer.

Currently, the ability to modify specific customizations or adding additional fields to customer statements is unavailable in the program. However, there are a few options available when managing these forms that you can customize.

For now, I recommend sending this feature request to our product engineers. This way, they'll consider this idea and will work on its progress to include it in future product updates. Here's how you can submit your feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestions and click Next to submit them.

You may also consider looking for third-party applications that offer customization features for invoices and statements. These apps can be synced with QuickBooks to easily exchange data while using the programs. To do this:

  1. Go to the Apps menu and select the Find Apps or Apps tab.
  2. Click the drop-down list for Browse categories.
  3. Select Get Paid and choose the specific app that works best for your business.

Additionally, I'm including this reference that can help you add specific customizations to customer sales forms and utilize other features available: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'll keep this thread available for any additional queries when managing sales transactions in your account. Feel free to reply below, and I'll be happy to help. Stay safe, and have a good one.

Thanks for trying, but your answer just affirms why Online is such a nightmare. It makes me work too hard to achieve what was so simple with Desktop. I just spent three hours updating the prices for my 284 items...one by one. Augh!

You can export into excel and copy and paste the new prices, I actually find the price changes goes smoother in QBO then within desktop. I do wish I could find an answer on the statements though. I hate manually edited each PDF so they will fit.
