Question

I have multiple companies. What is the most cost effective option rather than paying $40 Per month per company for Quickbooks online?

Hello there, colin13. I would like to help you with this.

Every version in QuickBooks Online has its own level of pricing. We can have different plans for our multiple companies.

If you want to downgrade or upgrade your subscription, we have other plans that you can check by going to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/. Once you've decided converting to another plan, you can check these articles:

@colin13

The most cost effective option is migrating to QB Desktop and deploy a private cloud solution. You may purchase the one-time license thru a partner to get less price.

Should you prefer using QB Online, you will need some efforts to minimize your cost. Utilize this 3rd party tool to migrate your data between QBO accounts.

 Use promo code 20PERCENTOFF at checkout, valid until April 30th, 2020.

Once you are ready to proceed, open a new QBO account with discounted price for up to 6 months.

If you are able to run this process once, you may repeat it for every semester to minimize your cost.

Do you need to run any add-ons? e.g QB Payroll, QB Payment
