Question

I have quickbooks payments and I know that the fee is 1% on ACH payments but does that mean no matter how large the invoice is, it will still be no more than $10?

Hi there, tessie1.

Yes, you are correct. Although there's rate of 1%, it is capped at a maximum of $10 processing fee for every ACH transaction.

Let me share these articles with you to add more details about QuickBooks Payments:

You can also contact our phone support for QuickBooks Payments if you have any other questions about your account. Here's a link where you can get their contact details: Contact Payments Support.

I'll be around if you need anything else.

These old postings are misleading now that QBO has changed the fee to 1% uncapped for business started after Sept. 6th 2023.   If your company, like mine, deals in large transactions, ACH payments by your customers using QBO invoice links can cost thousands.   Just last week, QBO took 2,000 dollars from my account for a 200K payment.

Meanwhile my older companies only get charged 15 dollars maximum.  How is this possible, because they are thieves.  I was told just read the T&Cs, you agreed to it.  That I did, but what kind of company beleives they provided 2,000 dollars of value for something my bank charges 1 to 5 dollars for.
