Hello there, @gary121

I got here steps to help you correct Undeposited Funds.

We can review each transactions and identify where each one should be matched whether that's to an invoice, a bill payment, or some other transaction.

Once you've determined the correct matching for each undeposited funds item, go ahead and match them appropriately. This will remove them from the undeposited funds category.

After matching all the individual undeposited funds items, you can then access the Bank Deposit window in QuickBooks. In there, you should see all the various payments you've received that make up the total undeposited balance.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the + New button and select Bank Deposit.
  2. In the Payments to Deposit window, check the boxes next to the payments you want to deposit. You can select multiple payments or use the Select All option if you are depositing the entire balance.
  3. After selecting the payments, ensure you select the correct bank account where the funds will be deposited and then click Save and Close.

Finally, go back and review the transactions again to ensure everything is categorized and matched correctly.

You can read these resources to learn how the Undeposited Funds works in the program and the way to put your payments into the account before you combine them into a deposit:
