When I log in I get the message "You’re all set up
Looks like you already have this feature.". Then the next day I keep getting the same email..   "You have 24 hours to access funds your customers have paid you in QuickBooks. After that, we’ll return funds to your customer and close down your payments account. Once we close your account, you will not be able to get paid online, in-person, or apply for QuickBooks Cash."

Hello there, info-ilovepanzer. Let me share some details about the email message you've received.

The message means QuickBooks has declined your payment account due to missing information.Once closed, you won't be able to receive payments but can still send invoices, and any remaining funds will be returned to your customer.

To continue accepting electronic payments, fully set up your QuickBooks Payments by connecting your existing account with complete and accurate details to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear the icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Account and settings.
  3. Click the Payments tab.
  4. In the Existing account section, select Connect or Link Merchant Service.
  5. Choose the QuickBooks Payment account you want to link to.
  6. Hit Connect.
  7. Review the account info. If everything looks good, click Connect.
  8. Once done, sign out and in into QBO.

After that, you can open this article to see further steps to finish the process: Connect your QuickBooks Payments account to QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, check this link for details on setting company preferences correctly for online invoices: Take and process payments.

Additionally, you can review our commonly asked questions on this page: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.

Let me know how else I can assist with your QBO payments and transactions. I'm here to help. Take care.
