I'm having issues with trying to send my info to TurboTax. I've updated ALL of my vehicle information but no luck. What should I do to remove the update vehicle info?

I've updated the vehicle expenses with my car and I've also added my total mileage for last year as well.

I see you updated your vehicle information, but you're still getting a message to update. We have not received any reports regarding this issue yet.

 

I suggest that you log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account using a private browser to verify if the cache, which is full of history and temp files, is causing the unexpected behavior. Private browsing does not store local files or cache.

 

To access private browsing mode, use the following keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you are using:

 

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

 

If private browsing resolves the issue, you can go back to your default display program and clear its cache or use a different supported browser.

 

However, if the issue persists, it would be best to contact our support team. They can initiate an investigation if they believe there is a general problem. You will receive a notification via email once it is resolved. 

 

To contact our support team, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu, then click Contact Us
  2. Type your concern in the box and tap Continue.
  3. Choose either Get a callback or Start a chat
  4. Complete the required data and submit the request.
