I'm trying to connect and existing bank to QBO, how do I pick a different update date? I can get a dropdown but its not changeable.

Hello there, Info1715. I'm here to provide insights on inputting specific dates when connecting your bank.

 

When you connect an existing bank account to QuickBooks Online(QBO), the system automatically pulls the 90 days of your transactions or less. Others can go back as far as 24 months.

 

This process can't be opted out of, thus you're unable to select a different update date. The good news is that you can still change the dates by custom. I've added a screenshot below for your reference:

 

 

Another option is to manually upload bank transactions to choose and bring in the ones you want.
