I need to edit an invoice that is more than 12 months old - how do i do that?

Welcome to the Community space, efitzgerald. I'm glad to lend you a hand in editing your invoices and deleting the duplicates.

If you've imported your invoices from 2023 to QuickBooks, we can manage and edit them by filtering the Date ▼ to 2023. To do so, we can follow the steps below:

1. On the Sales tab, select Invoices.
2. Click the Date ▼ Then, choose 2023.
3. After that, look for your January-February 2023 invoices. Then, tick the Box icon beside the Date on the said invoices.
4. Click the dropdown arrow ▼ under the Action column. Then, select Edit.
5. Do this manually for every invoice that you need to modify.

However, if you're using the QuickBooks Online Advanced subscription, you have the option to bulk edit them.

1. Tick your invoices from January to February 2023, you'll then have access to Batch actions ▼.
2. Hit the Batch actions ▼, then select Edit.
3. Edit them accordingly.
4. Once done, click Save.

Meanwhile, make sure to double-check the duplicated invoices (if there's any). Once confirmed, we can delete them if you wish to remove them. Take note that all the subscriptions from Simple Start, Essential, Plus, and Advance have the option to bulk delete invoices.

Here's how:

1. On your Invoices page, filter the Date ▼ accordingly.
2. Manually check duplicated invoices.
3. After confirming duplicated transactions, tick them.
4. Click Batch actions ▼. Then, select Delete.
5. Select Delete to confirm the deletion.
