Welcome to the Community space, @cindy11_2.

I'm here to assist you in resolving the issue concerning updating your credit card expiration date in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To better understand your problem, May I know what specific name of the credit card you are using? This information will help us find a precise solution for your case.

Additionally, we can perform clearing your data cache since the accumulation of excessive cache in your browser may cause unexpected behavior with the product and could be why you're unable to update your Credit Card expiration date.

To fix this, we can try signing in to your QBO account using a private browser or "incognito" mode. This can help your computer or device run more efficiently by preventing interference from extensions, plugins, or cookies.

Here are the shortcut keys for these browsers:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Clear your cache and refresh website preferences, which may cause issues with QBO.

I've also added this article if you need to edit subscription billing info and details about your firm right from QuickBooks Online:
