I often use the Activity Report by Tag Group but it does not appear that there will be a comparable report once everything is switched over to custom fields. Any ideas?

Hi there, buckanddoestable. Even after May 16, 2025, you can still generate a Statement of Activity by Tag Group report for historical transactions that utilized tags. I'll provide more details below.

For new transactions, you will transition to using custom fields. However, please note that a Statement of Activity report specifically for custom fields is currently unavailable.

As you switch to custom fields, consider using the Transactions Detail by Account report. You can filter this report to display only income and expense accounts, and it allows grouping by custom fields. This enables you to cross-reference with your Statement of Activity report.

After pulling up your report, you can export it to save a copy outside of QuickBooks.
