Hello there. I'll provide instructions on managing your payment accounts so you can add Venmo as a payment method in QuickBooks.

If you have QuickBooks Payments, ensure your payments account is set up and approved. This will enable you to process bank transfers/ACH, PayPal, Venmo, and credit card transactions. Follow the steps below to activate the payment option:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top right, then Accounts and Settings.
  2. Select Sales, then hit Accept PayPal to make PayPal and Venmo available for all new sales transactions.

Also, make sure that you're using the new invoice experience. Then, create an invoice and select Venmo as the payment method. Fill in all the necessary details and send the invoice to your customer.

Your customer can then select the Buy with Venmo option and complete the payment when they receive the invoice email. For detailed information, please refer to this article: Use PayPal and Venmo with QuickBooks Online.

If you don't have a QuickBooks Payments account, you can add the Venmo option when receiving payment.

  1. Go to the Sales menu, then find the invoice in question.
  2. Click the Receive payment option.
  3. Tap the Payment method dropdown button, then click Add new.
  4. Enter Venmo in the Name field.
  5. Tap Save.

Additionally, you'll want to generate the Invoices and Received Payments report to track or review all the invoices and the payments that are applied to them.

You can always count on me with answers if there's anything else you need to know about adding a payment method. I'm always ready to lend a hand. Keep safe.
