I sold my company. I use Quickbooks online and I am have to turn it over to the buyer BUT I need to keep a copy for myself so I can do taxes next year. How do I do that?

I want to create a new QB Online file from the existing one.

You may consider to purchase a 3rd party service to duplicate your data. Another option, convert your data to QB Desktop file and use the trial version to access your historical data for good.

Thanks for raising your query for a copy of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) transactions.

 

At the moment, we do not have the option to duplicate your QBO transactions for you to keep. However, you can manually export your QuickBooks Online data to obtain a copy of your company. Alternatively, you may consider buying a compatible third-party service that can duplicate or copy your transaction data.
