I still have tagging question.

I am in the latest version of Chrome. I logged in incognito and have the same issue.

1. The screen that comes up is Bank Deposit. I recognize the charge so I click on the linked name (who it was received from)

2. That takes me to the Receive Payment screen. I see the Invoice link and select it.

3. The Invoice was linked.



This is still in the untagged tags list. It feels like I am double tagging it if I tag it in the deposit screen also. PLUS, many deposits would need to be tagged for two tags and I cannot do that since they are in the same group.

Tags are customizable labels that allow you to track your transactions however you'd like. They're a great way to categorize and group transactions belonging to the same category. You don't have to worry about tagging a transaction multiple times since this won't affect your books.

 

To add transactions to a group tag, you need to select the group tag when tagging instead of the tags outside the group. This will ensure that your transactions are properly grouped under the desired tag.

 

Additionally, you can run a Transaction list by tag group report to get an overview.
